Art for climate education and adaptation
In the fall of 2013, we brought Rising Waters to Maverick Square in East Boston in collaboration with a local Community Development Corporation (CDC), the Neighborhood of Affordable Housing (NOAH), in East Boston. We worked with their teen workforce and afterschool program to produce artwork that “filled” the Maverick MBTA Station and Community Health Center with flood waters as the outreach for a community storm preparedness event.
