Artwork from Maverick Square was reconfigured and installed at this beloved local bookstore for Brookline Climate Week 2015, curated by Mary Dewart. This installation was more broadly about sea level rise as water would not reach this height (top row).
In 2015, as part of a group show Seen Not Seen on Olmsted’s Emerald Necklace, curated by Bette Ann Libby of Studios Without Walls, fish flags marked where the bank of the Muddy River in Brookline could potentially flood (bottom row). Since that installation, the Muddy River has been daylighted to restore its flow downstream and prevent flooding.
